Auxiliary Additives
 
NLD-55 - Make-Up
 
Characteristics and Applications: For blending NB-44, NB-66, NB-77 and NB-78 for nickel make-up's and base brightener.
 
NLD-56 - Make-Up
 
Characteristics and Applications: Specially prepared for NB-45R make-up solutions. The initial plating bath should be blended according to the brochure of this brightener. Normally addition of NLD-56 is not required. If the LCD area shows yellowish coloration, an appropriate amount of NLD-56 can be added.
 
LD-SO3 - LCD Booster
 
Characteristics and Applications: Suitable for some Dillenberg brighteners. If workpieces of complicated shapes with recesses, LD-SO3 can be added. It improves brightness in LCD areas. It also acts as a masking agent for copper contamination. If excess brighteners have been added with the formation of pits, the addition of LD-SO3 can reduce this problem.
 
SP-10 - Leveller
 
Characteristics and Applications: Suitable for some Dillenberg brighteners. If good levelling is required , an addition of 10กใ20 % of the amount of the brightener used should be added . This gives the coating full brightness.
 
FBT-99A - De-Contaminant
 
Characteristics and Applications: Suitable for Dillenberg brighteners. For masking heavy metal contaminants, it is especially useful for plating zinc diecast. It can be added directly to the bath.
 
WA-230 - Surface-Active Agent for Mechanic Agitation
 
Characteristics and Applications: High-suds surface-active agent suitable for Dillenberg brighteners, for the elimination of pinholes. The make-up bath should be blended with the required amount of the surface-active agent. Normally addition of WA-230 is not required.
 
WA-88A - Surface-Active Agent for Air Agitation
 
Characteristics and Applications: Low-suds surface-active agent suitable for Dillenberg brighteners, for the elimination of pinholes. The make-up bath should be blended with the required amount of the surface-active agent. Normally addition of WA-88A is not required.
 
WA-88X - Surface-Active Agent for Air Agitation
 
Characteristics and Applications: Medium-suds surface-active agent suitable for Dillenberg brighteners, for the elimination of pinholes. The make-up bath should be blended with the required amount of the surface-active agent. Normally addition of WA-88X is not required.
 
FBT-101 Dezincing Agent
 
Characteristics and Applications: FBT-101 for bright nickel plating bath is for masking zinc contaminant.
 
FBT-100 Deironing Agent
 
Characteristics and Applications: FBT-100 for bright nickel and semi-bright nickel plating baths is for masking iron contaminant.
 
LCD-120 Powerful LCD Booster
 
Characteristics and Applications: LCD-120 is suitable for bright nickel plating. A moderate addition of LCD-120 can improve the brightness at LCD areas.
